Celebrate
Each year, the Maine State Science Fair recognizes students for their work and give four types of awards:
- Grand Awards are given to the top three projects presented at the fair. Grand Award winners represent Maine at the Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair.
- Scholarships are given by Maine colleges, universities, and foundations. Institutions looking to give scholarships at MSSF should contact Stefany Burrell by November 1.
- Category Awards are given to the top three projects (1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize including both individual and team projects), in each designated category of the Maine State Science Fair.
- Special Awards are given across categories to acknowledge student achievement. These awards are given by local, state, and national organizations. To give a special award, contact Stefany Burrell by January 15.
